Aqua-Agri Culture The Art of Growing

Aquaponics The Art of Growing.

Harmonizing with the Elements

The process starts with Sun light which grows algae  this is then  processed to produce chicken food. The (free range) chicken dropping are then once again processed to produce fish food. The nutrient rich water in the fish ponds has the optimum levels of nitrites and nutrates due to the effective management of the different elements in the tunnel. This water is then gravity fed  into crushed stone grow beds at predetermined intervals. There are specially adapted earthworms that break down the fish solids thus producing earthworm tea in the process. The plants intern thrive on this nutrient rich water thus assuring naturally  high quality (organic) produce, this intern makes it possible to have  sustainable crops year round, making use of the natural (organic) elements in a closed loop system. This all contained in One 300 m/2 green house.

The stone acts as a natural bio filter returning the water to the chloride filter enabling the recycling of the water into a sump and there-by retaining the good bacteria in the water for the initiation of the entire process again. Thus utilizing the water to its optimum potential.

Electrical usage is negligible and the system can be used in any environment as it comes in knock down module.

Due to the sensitivity of the natural cycle care must be taken in useing the correct supplements and pesticides.

We offer courses on Aquaponic Farming where we impart the hands on knowledge(built up by trail and error over the past 4 years) of how this unique concept works. We will take you through the entire process of producing algae with Sun light to feed the chickens the processing of the chicken manure to feed the fish and then keeping the water quality balances in check, to maximize the fruit and veg growth. We have also developed value add products to maximize the tunnels profitability.
